SOOOO! The T call came, and I am staying, and I am getting a new guy, Elder Ely, I met him when he first came out, kinda a goofy kid, this will be the fist time I will have been out longer then my comp, so that's a thing,
ANYHOW!
lets talk about the week
Monday,
It was Pday, and that's about it, I don't know what else to say about that,
Tuesday,
Elder Hartwig and I went to go hunt down a referral, and, that was tough, we went to one house, and asked the guy if it was the right house, he said no and then asked if we were there about the fire! so, turns out some house burned down across the street, and he thought we was like investigates or some such thing, it was kinda funny, then I thought, "oh no, what if that's the lady we are suppose to find!? HER HOUSE BURNED DOWN AND THAT'S WHY WE CANT FIND HER!!??" but it wasn't, and we found her, and she was smoking, and did NOT want to see us, that happens a lot here,
Wednesday,
DDM, it was good stuff! always is, we went to lunch with some members, and they also fed a few other folks, namely Joey, the deaf kid, and two black young men, I only say that they are black, cause Joey was being all KINDS of racist and said pretty much (as best he could) that all people from Africa are pot heads and are going to hell! SOOO! I promptly took over, and told Joey that HE was the one going to hell for judging, he didn't agree, I stood put.
Thursday
Nothing really cool, kinda a lame day really, I think it rained?
Friday,
We got Tcalled, so, Elder Hartwig packed, and then we.. well, he packed....
SATDAY!!!
MORE OF THE SAME!!!
SUNDAY!
We had the stake people all come, it was good, they talked to the youth, and all the youth I told to invite someone, didn't invite anyone, only I DID!! I got one more youth there then the norm, so that was a thing, then we had a chili feed thing that was good stuff!

Week 30 (I guess he did write, just didn't send it to me!)
so this was the week of randomness!

Monday,
We had pday..
Tuesday!
I have tried so hard to remember this day! I remember nothing from it! must of been a really lame day..
Wednesday,
A good ol DDM and then we went with a brother from the branch to help him paint his house to get it ready for his future wife to come visit it for the first time! HAHA!
anyhow, we were with him most the day, and then when we were done with the house, he asked if we would go with him to visit someone in the hospital and then give another sickly fellow a blessing, being missionaries, we of course said YES! but! I tots forgot it was Wednesday, which, is probably because I forgot all about Tuesday, I think that day just never happened! anyhow, Wednesday nights we always lead a bible study thing (never actually from the bible, ha, mostly from PMG) but we are lucky if we get 2 people there, and often, no one comes, well, that day, all kinds of people came, but we didn't, we missed it, and it made some people mad, now, I felt bad, and such, and should have remembered and it was my fault, but they all acted like I missed it on purpose and just didn't call anyone cause I didn't care, so, we are not loved by those few people..
Thursday,
I felt all KINDS of sick, and we didn't do a whole lot, my bad, but I was kinda worried about being pretty sick, I'M FINE NOW THOUGH! mostly,
Friday,
we had lunch with a member, talked to a few folks, and enjoyed life,
Saturday,
We went to help someone MOVE! YAY! it was good, and we saw some less actives and such things, it was a good day,
SUNDAY,
We both gave a talk again, that's the 3rd time in as many months as I have been here, my talk was short cause I wanted Elder Hartwig to have all kinds of time, but I kinda rebuked the member for being mad at us for the bible study thing, haha, not really, but kinda, most of the liked it, I just said that i'm a missionary and not a God like they seem to think, (I did NOT use those words) and that they will never find a missionary that wont make mistakes, (unless they put sisters here) and that the mistakes I need to be worrying about are the ones when I don't talk to some guy on the street, and don't knock on some door, or just don't work as long as hard as the Lord expects, (and for some reason I got emotional with that last part so they knew I was for REAL!) so, I think they got what I was trying to say, I said nothing about the bible study, but they knew! anyhow, the branch pres told me to preach a bit, so that's what I did, he said thank you after,
HA! remember when I said it was a week of random? well, here if finally comes, really just one thing, this family that like no one knew showed up to church, and just stuck around, I would have talked to them but the branch pres took them to his office before I had a chance, but all was good, cause they were at the lunch we go to after church every week! and we talked to them a bit there, turns out she was a member once, and he had never even really heard of the church, till then, and he is out of the job, and they live in a motel right now, I cant help but think the only reason they came is cause she knows the church helps people, and has money and such things, I hope that's not it, and even if it is, they will have to meet with US at least a few times, and we will do our best to help them gain a testimony instead of a quick buck! but anyhow, pray for them, they need it,
ANYHOW!
It was a good week, we met a few new people, and that is always a good thing, this is the last week of this transfer, kinda crazy to think about, next time I email, I might have some NEWS! or just nothing at all, who knows,

Week 30
Well, no letter from Elder Martin this week. But in a personal letter to me he told me about the mission blog. Check it out!

Here are the pictures with Elder Martin that I found in it.
The following two are of the day Cameron and his group arrived in Mississippi. They are the first group of missionaries to arrive for the new mission presidency.
Here is a blurb that his mission presidents wife wrote about the group.
The "existing" missionaries told us that the Tuckers, our predecessors, referred to their first arriving group of missionaries as their firstborn in the wilderness. It fits! And now as I write this after a few months of knowing these amazing and powerful missionaries, I can honestly say how much I love them and how proud of them and their growth and progress I am! They came ready to work and they're working hard! They arrived in Mississippi on August 6, 2012.
Gah! It's brown! I can't make it white.
Oh, and here are some pictures of damage caused by that tornado in one of the previous letters from Elder Martin.

Week 29
SO!
after a crazy week of almost death, this week... not much better!
MONDAY!
we are just a chillin and BOOM nado sirens! AGAIN! this time no tree came down, and we still lived so all is well!
THE NEXT DAY!! I found a lady that wanted her name taken of the roles and such, so... I have now sent a soul away from the light!
I also almost got ranned over by a car!
and talked to the most hick man of all time!
THE DAY AFTER!
We made a crazy trap for the mouse that haunts my dreams!
THE DAY AFTER THAT DAY!
INTERVIEWS! it was fun, got to meet with pres and all that, also almost died that day, cause some people can't drive!
FRIDAY!
I shall tell a bit of a story. So, when I was transferred all kinds of a long time ago, I left my GPS is the Phily car, no worries I would just get it the next time the APs came around! RIGHT!? wrong, that was Zone con, which was like 7 weeks ago, I still don't have it, and it seemed no one knew where it was, well, after some detective work, I was told that some punk, named Elder Dean, owed another PUNK!!! named Elder Whatcot, a favor so, he GAVE HIM MY GPS!! HOW EITHER OF THEM THOUGHT THAT WAS OK! I will NEVER know! so, I'm getting it back now, but both of them will be on my hit list forevermore!

Sunday, same as most Sundays, only we met with someone we had been trying to meet with for WEEKS! it went well!

Week 28
Lets start with the story of how I almost died!
it was the scariest moment of my life, and yet, I didn't even know at the time what it was! I was on an exchange in Winnfield with Elder Ralphs and we were in this like, living room, sitting on the couch, it was dark and all kinds of rainy and windy, and then it got REAL loud, and THEN THIS HUGE BOOM LIKE BREAKING SOUND! we both jumped up and ran into the other room! we were kind of spooked and then the power went out! AHH! I'm not sure that I can say all the words were good that came out, the thing that made that the worst is the fact that that house is HAUNTED and my two nights there were the scariest ever! anyhow, the power came back on and we could faintly hear this siren sounding sound thing, and I was like I wonder if that's a tornado siren, (every town has a few here) but no member or anyone called us so we figured we were ok. Everything calmed down, kinda, there were a few more creepy sounds like the sound of someone trying to open the back door!! but anyhow, the next day we went outside to find a big ol' tree on the ground, not too far from falling on the house, and CRUSHING ME! it would have been right were I was, a few trees were down around the area, even one big oak tree! and that's saying something! it wasn't till a few days latter I found out a tornado touched down right by us! crazy!
So that was a thing! it happened Tuesday,
Monday was your average Pday,
Wednesday the Zone leaders came to our DDM and then went with me and Elder Hartwig back to Jonesboro, and we went they did some work and such things with us, I think they only came to check up on me, but they say it was cause they are suppose to, or something lame like that, I like them though, Elder Brinkerhoff and Neilson, good guys, Brink knows a girl from Kuna, something Erickson, or some such thing, he calls me Nampa, I'm ok with that,
Wednesday night they left and we found out our heater was not working! at all! that night was freezing and it got down to 40 in the house,
Thursday
Still no heater, we heated our room with the SUN and that kinda worked, the rest of the house was freezing though, then the landlord slash branch mission leader came to fix it, but couldn't that night, it was all kinds of broken! so he left us with a space heater,
Friday!
Finally, the heater got fixed, but not till late that night, we went to eat and there we saw brother listle and he was like, hey, am I coming to fix your heater tonight, and I was like YES! so he and another guy came and fixed it, we almost killed him though cause a breaker was on and he put a screw driver where he should not have, and it was kinda funny,
Satday,
The APs came rolling into to town, that was odd, but they were on their way to Texas for interviews and one of them was trained here so they spent the night and went to church with us the next day,
Sunday
Church was great, some good testimonies and such things, then we went around with the APs and the one showed us some peeps he used to visit, so that was good stuff,
I think I'm forgetting a really cool story, but oh well, OH, I was like not an hour ago threatened by a black guy! that was pretty fun for me!
